This practice brings about the sensation of a smile through the body. It is designed to provide you with deep relaxation and an inner sense of happiness & positivity. You can practice lying down on the floor, which makes it very suitable for beginners. 

It aims to release any tension you might be holding in your abdomen, belly, face and jaw. In today’s society, we’re told to suck and hold in our bellies which can result in feelings of tension in this area & negative thoughts about yourself. We use the visualization of smiling, which is proven to release happy chemicals in the body.

This meditation is especially healing for those with digestive disorders, chronic stress and anxiety.
